These assemblages are constructed from discarded IKEA packaging-materials are designed to be temporary, functional, and ultimately invisible. The language of the flat-pack design arranged to resemble structures, layouts, and architectural elevation schematics becomes a metaphor for our sense of place and how its connections to ‘home’ require assembly and continual reconfiguration.
