Assembly Required
These assemblages are constructed from discarded IKEA packaging-materials designed to be temporary, functional, and ultimately invisible. The language of the flat-pack design - modular, and globally standardized- becomes a metaphor for how identity and belonging are assembled, disassembled and continually reconfigured.
