The drawings render forms that verge on instability and fragility. Like memory they contain voids and soft edges where boundaries begin to dissolve and structures remain uncertain. Made using charcoal and hand-cut stencils the drawings were based on observing the on-going construction of homes and buildings during my walks around my neighbourhood. The drawings explore how space is constructed and our inadequate attempts to hold it in memory.
